The Process
The 100 percent solids gives the epoxy the durability. First the solution was a calcium chloride test for moisture. Then after the Perfect Primer, a product that prevents having to diamond grind, which causes environmental hazards, and silica getting all over the wine shop. Two coats of Metallic Epoxy were applied. Then one coat of a urethane. The urethane will protect the Epoxy Coating.
In New England with high foot traffic this process is very important. We will get to Garage Floor urethanes in a later blog. The total square footage was approximately 1,200 square feet. Base board moulding was laid after, which Pink’s Concrete Design can also do, or replace the existing. Pink’s charged $10 per Square foot.
